Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kandy – Cultural Exploration
Arrive in Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and explore the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dance show.
Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda – Tea Experience Begins
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Falls. En route, visit a working tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea production. Explore Nuwara Eliya’s colonial-style town and Gregory Lake.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Horton Plains Trek – Scenic Train Ride to Ella
Start early with a transfer to Horton Plains National Park for a guided trek to World’s End and Baker’s Falls. Return to Nanu Oya and board the famous hill country train to Ella (subject to availability).

Day 4: Ella Sightseeing – Little Adam’s Peak & Nine Arches Bridge
Explore Ella’s highlights: hike up Little Adam’s Peak for stunning views and visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. Enjoy free time to relax in this laid-back hill town.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Colombo or the airport, or continue your travels with an optional beach or cultural extension arranged by Earth Rounder Travels.
