Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Bentota
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your Earth Rounder guide and transferred to the coastal town of Bentota (approx. 2.5 hours). Relax at your beach hotel and enjoy your first sunset in Sri Lanka.

Day 2: Bentota Beach Day – Water Sports & River Safari
Enjoy a full day of beach relaxation or choose optional water sports like jet skiing, banana boat rides, or snorkeling. In the afternoon, take a scenic Madu River boat safari through mangroves and cinnamon islands.

Day 3: Transfer to Mirissa – Stop in Galle Fort
After breakfast, travel along the southern coastline to Mirissa (approx. 3.5 hours). On the way, stop at the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort for a guided walk through colonial streets and sea-facing ramparts. Arrive in Mirissa and check in to your beachfront hotel.

Day 4: Whale Watching – Relaxation in Mirissa
Early morning whale-watching tour (seasonal: November–April), where you may spot blue whales, sperm whales, and dolphins. After the boat ride, return to relax by the beach or enjoy a massage/spa session.

Day 5: Explore Unawatuna – Optional Turtle Hatchery Visit
Travel to nearby Unawatuna for a beach hop, snorkeling, or swimming. Visit the famous Jungle Beach or take a short hike to the Japanese Peace Pagoda. On your way back, optionally stop at a sea turtle hatchery.
Overnight stay in Mirissa or Unawatuna.

Day 6: Return to Colombo – Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Colombo (approx. 3–4 hours), depending on your flight time. Optional Colombo city tour or shopping stop if time allows. Airport drop-off for your departure.
